Voxello has achieved numerous milestones and has continuous momentum.

Learn more about what Voxello is doing to help organizations achieve better outcomes with the noddle system.

A Brief Voxello History

Voxello was formed in 2013 under the Iowa Medical Innovation Group at the University of Iowa. The noddle system was developed out of the Assistive Devices Laboratory at the University of Iowa, headed by Richard Hurtig, Ph.D., a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, ranked #1 by U.S. News and World Reports.

At Voxello, we provide Assistive Technology (AT) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices to help caregivers improve their standard of care through better communication with impaired or disabled patients. By enhancing patient-provider communication, the noddle solution will help organizations reduce the rate of preventable adverse medical events, improve evaluation metrics such as medical outcomes and patient satisfaction, and more easily meet hospital accreditation standards. The noddle system allows healthcare organizations to now fully comply with the Joint Commission mandates on patient communication and access.
